Drink it in – there won’t be another international break until March. And by then we’ll be getting the ‘Euro 2016 tingles’, so it’s all good.
Now is the calm before the storm in Fantasy Football; you need to get a settled squad before December when there’s a gameweek every few days. So here are a few tips on who to bring into your Fantasy Premier League team and who to bin…
Out
Emre Can
(Liverpool, £5.3m)
Emre Can emerged as one of the only slight positives from Liverpool’s 2014/15 campaign but he’s shown very mixed form recently. His rather peculiar way of clearing the ball has directly cost Liverpool two goals, and unfortunately for Fantasy Football managers he wasn’t credited with assisting Bolasie or Lukaku.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is back on the horizon too, so it’s likely Can may drop to the bench behind Lucas Leiva in the next few weeks. Take your spare change to West Ham where you can get Manuel Lanzini for the same price.
Dimitri Payet
(West Ham United, £8m)
If you’re Slaven Bilic or one of the near 25% of managers who own the Frenchman you’ll have been laughing this season. Only Riyad Mahrez has earned more points from midfield, but now is the time to get rid of Payet.
He suffered a serious injury last time out and won’t be back for three months. The £8 million you get from selling him will come in handy when you’re giving your team a late autumnal shot in the arm.

Bafetimbi Gomis
(Swansea City, £6.8m)
Bafetimbi Gomis was having an awesome time at the end of the summer holidays, but his goal against Manchester United on 30th of August was his last. He’s usually still good for 2 points as he plays whole games and rarely gets booked, but he hasn’t looked threatening in front of goal.
Worse still, other than Andre Ayew and Jonjo Shelvey, his Swansea teammates aren’t performing either. There’s more value elsewhere.

In
Mesut Ozil
(Arsenal, £8.9m)
A little faux pas when picking your fantasy football team is to focus on goals, and when looking to Arsenal, that’s what a few people have done.
Alexis Sanchez has been picked by almost twice as many people as his German teammate, but it’s Mesut Ozil who is currently their highest point scoring player. Since the defeat against Chelsea in September Ozil has set up at least one goal a game. For less than £9m you’d be best off bringing him in now, than regretting it later.

Harry Kane
(Tottenham Hotspur, £9.4m)
Last year Harry Kane needed only to sneeze near a ball and it would go in. The commentary line which grinds my gear: “he can’t stop scoring” was irritatingly applicable, but something seemed different this season.
Kane didn’t net his first goal until September but things have gone a lot better since: Five goals in his last three games for Spurs are enough to persuade me to pop him on the list.
Great performance after a tough week! 7 points from the 3 games isn't to bad! Delighted to score aswell Image may be NSFW.

Ayoze Perez
(Newcastle United, £5.1m)
“Ross it’s all well and good dropping these big money suggestions, but what about me; I’ve used my wildcard and I’ve only got £0.2m in the bank, any bargains?” is what I imagine you’re crying. So why not give Ayoze Perez a go?
Stats don’t completely back me up but in the ‘Under £5.5m’ category only Odion Ighalo and Arouna Kone have amassed more points than the Toon’s Tenerife native. As a fantasy football manager it can be mildly irritating when your striker is played in midfield, but Perez seems to be a go-to man for Newcastle and I’m confident he’ll prove a bargain.
If you take my advice and it doesn’t work out feel free to give me some stick on twitter @RossTyson.
